Advanced onboard processing for highly secure acquisition of RTK-georeferenced site data

The ARA405 features the Sensor Interface Computer (SIC), an onboard companion computer that supports diverse payload integrations. The SIC interfaces directly with payloads to validate data in flight, adjust configurations, and store georeferenced data onboard. Paired with the SKYCONTROL™ Ground Control Station, the ARA405 enables rapid, payload-specific mission creation for precise, high-quality data collection. Georeferenced data supports RTK positioning and exports in standard formats compatible with photogrammetry, LiDAR point cloud processing, and hydrographic surveying workflows.
Remote Operation Enabled Over a Secure Private Connection
Built for large-scale industrial operations, the ARA405 delivers real-time intelligence for mission-critical mining decisions. Flexible payload support enables rapid switching between photogrammetry, LiDAR, and inspection missions, maximizing coverage per flight. Integrated 4G LTE provides remote access, monitoring, and BVLOS-ready communication redundancy, turning aerial data into actionable insights for safer, more efficient mining operations.

Beyond Visual Line of Sight Operations Enabled by Redundant Communication Links

The Communication and Video Interface Computer (CVIC) provides on-demand communication redundancy with automatic switching between an onboard SIM card using LTE/4G and a ground-based radio frequency link, based on signal strength and prioritization. When combined with advanced mission planning capabilities in SkyControl, the ARA405 is designed to extend flight automation beyond the visual line of sight of the operator.
