The UAS Center of Excellence (CED) needed an advanced Real Time Monitoring and Tracking System (SSSTR) for the Qualia drone test site. The major challenge was to create a reliable and versatile system for different types of RPAS, while facilitating the planning and operation of drones.

Solution

The solution combines a universal UTM beacon and OneSky software, allowing operators to track drones in real time and analyze their flights a posteriori. 4D planning tools and dynamic real-time trajectory configuration provide an accurate understanding of airspace.

Résultat

This innovation allows centimetre-accurate monitoring of RPAS in real time, ensuring safe operation on the Qualia site. In addition, it offers advanced post-flight analysis capabilities that are crucial for interventions and training.

Qualia now benefit from a system that not only simplifies multi-vehicle routing but also offers an unprecedented 4D airspace perspective. The precision and real-time tracking capability have elevated their RPAS functions, making them more secure and efficient than ever.
