
LEAD MECHANICAL DESIGNER (ENG)
We are currently looking for a RPAS pilot and technician to support the company in assiting out customer and internal projects. As a member of the company’s flight operations team, the pilot will be called upon to support different teams to carry out the operation, flight tests, and the processing of RPAS gathered data. He will also be called upon to participate in projects where he will be invited to provide training to the company’s customers. Finally, he will perform assembly and inspection work on RPAS systems to support the company’s RPAS production and maintenance teams. Strong communication skills are also sought after. You will have to discuss high level concepts with your respective team. You will be asked to give your opinion and present your perception of the systems’ in-flight performance and their ability to meet customer needs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate RPAS from a MTOW range from 3kg to 150kg
Complete flight reports for the engineering team
Operate RPAS as a ground station operator
Perform data entry related to RPAS tests
Set up and maintain flight plans for aerial operations
Participate in the maintenance of the company’s flight operations manuals
Contribute to the filing of Special Flight Operations Certificate applications with Transport Canada
Traveling to customers to carry out data collection and/or demonstration operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Pilot training from a recognized training school
Advanced RPAS Pilot License (Transport Canada)
DEC or equivalent college diploma

ASSETS
Experience with operations aimed at photogrammetry
Knowledge of Bentley software suites
Basic knowledge of GIS
Interest in traveling within Canada and the United States
Knowledge of the DroneCode, Arducopter, Missionplanner and Qgroundcontrol software suite
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong knowledge in RPAS operation
Advanced technical knowledge of electric welding
Technical knowledge in SATP assembly
Valid driver’s license
Valid passport
High quality of spoken and written French
Strong skills in spoken and written English
